A king room and a twin are not quite equal in size
Agoda lists Standard King Bed at 23 square metres and Standard Twin–Two Single Beds at 20 square metres. Both are shown with a street-view description. Trip.com also lists a 20-square-metre Double Room, so the words “double” and “king” should not be used interchangeably when comparing offers.
That difference matters more for a couple carrying luggage than for a solo overnight stop. The King category provides a little more floor space, while the Twin resolves the more basic need for two separate beds. A street-view label tells you an outlook category, not that a particular room will be quiet.
The road location divides guest priorities
An August 2026 King-room guest found the hotel easy to locate from the main road and appreciated the nearby town access. An October 2025 guest also liked the practical location with a car, but found walking back after dark less appealing. These are different uses of the same address rather than a disagreement about which province the hotel is in.

Esy is worth considering when the priorities are a recognisable main-road location, parking and a room with a clear bed arrangement. It is less persuasive as a destination in itself or for someone seeking a quiet garden retreat. A short cultural stop can work well with its simple operating style.
For the temple itinerary, use this as a Lamphun base and give Hariphunchai its own visit rather than treating the hotel’s location as a guarantee of door-to-door proximity. The key choice is between the larger named King category and the smaller Twin, alongside how much weight you place on the individual noise and maintenance accounts.
