The smallest category deliberately omits a balcony
The official room descriptions place Deluxe rooms at 35–40-plus square metres with separate bath, shower and toilet. They have no balconies and can connect with an adjacent Grande Deluxe king room. The hotel explicitly describes the no-balcony arrangement as suitable for small children. This is not an adults-only property on the basis of the information supplied.
Grande Deluxe rooms are available with king or twin beds, also at 35–40-plus square metres, with balconies overlooking gardens. Royal Grande Deluxe rooms have king beds, at least 45 square metres, a Jacuzzi and pool-view balcony. A Royal room therefore adds a particular bathroom and outlook, rather than simply adding the balcony missing from every other category.
The website’s general feature list is broader than the category descriptions. Use the specific room details for the balcony decision. For a group, a connecting Deluxe and Grande Deluxe may answer a different need from one larger Royal room; availability of that connection must be part of the actual reservation.

A courtyard pool with an evening limit
The official facilities page places the pool in the courtyard and lists opening hours of 07:00–19:00. The veranda beside it serves as an outdoor sitting area with food and drink service. The Library is a separate cocktail and wine lounge. These spaces allow a stay centred on the property between excursions, without assuming the pool is available for a late-night swim.
A July 2026 Grande Deluxe guest complained about the pool closing in the evening and also reported a blocked drain. The published pool hours put that first complaint in context: evening closure is not evidence of a pool fault. The drain report remains an individual maintenance concern, rather than a condition that can be assigned to all rooms.
Breakfast and spa are documented, with different evidence roles
The hotel publishes breakfast service from 07:00–10:00 and describes Nakara Spa as an Ayurvedic treatment centre. Spa reservations are handled separately from selecting a room. A July 2026 guest liked the treatment but noted the need to book ahead; that account supports planning the spa explicitly if it is a main reason for staying.
A June Deluxe Twin guest enjoyed the quiet grounds and made-to-order breakfast, while finding the restocking of some room amenities insufficient. An August Grande Deluxe King guest particularly praised the bed and attentive service. These are useful, dated accounts of different stays. Neither complimentary minibar items mentioned by a guest nor a past discount should be assumed to be included in every current rate.
A riverside neighbourhood, outside the temple cluster
The official address is 135/9 Charoenprathet Road, in Chang Khlan. It places the hotel on the eastern side of the city-centre accommodation area, outside the Old City. Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang need a separate journey, and Doi Suthep remains a mountain excursion. This is not a room overlooking one of those temples.
The architectural style can complement a trip interested in Lanna history without being a Lanna temple building itself. Ping Nakara makes sense when the room’s bath and balcony arrangement, courtyard and spa are part of the holiday. A traveller who mainly wants a short route from the room to Old City temple gates may prefer a more central historic-quarter base.
