A residential corner of the historic centre
The property’s address is 8/3 Soi 3 Singharaj Road in Si Phum. This places the stay in the Old City rather than Nimman or on the eastern riverside. For the temple collection, Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang are the relevant historic-centre visits; Wat Umong and the mountain temple of Doi Suthep remain separate outings.
Tripadvisor’s property description presents a small lodge with natural materials, planted common areas and a swimming pool. The choice is most convincing when this domestic scale is an attraction in itself. A traveller who wants the entrance directly on the main evening shopping street may prefer a different position within the historic centre.
The room category includes the route to it
Booking.com identifies “Superior Double Bed Room - In house” and “Superior Twin Room - In house” as upper-level accommodation without elevator access. Its notice also says those categories are not suitable for wheelchair users. That is a specific limitation, rather than a reason to assume every other room has a fully accessible route.
Expedia likewise lists no elevator and shows Deluxe choices with either one king bed or two twins. This gives friends and couples an identifiable bed choice, but a Deluxe label alone does not prove a ground-floor location. The assigned floor, steps and bathroom arrangement need to work together for someone who has difficulty climbing.
The room facilities listed by Expedia include a desk, kettle, air conditioning, safe and rainfall shower. They support a fairly straightforward city stay, while the garden and outside sitting areas provide some of the space beyond the bedroom. These are practical amenities, not evidence that every room has the same outlook or a large private terrace.

Some guests have valued the room more than others
A Trip.com solo guest staying in January 2025 praised a spacious room, air conditioning and helpful staff. Another guest from the same month found the bedroom and bathroom small and was disappointed by the bathroom’s cleanliness. Both are individual accounts with no matching room category supplied, so they should not be averaged into a promise about the room a later guest will receive.
An October 2024 family-villa account is particularly useful for layout expectations: the guest had assumed connecting bedrooms but needed to go outside to reach the adjoining room. That arrangement may be acceptable to older children or friends, but the report is not evidence of an internal connecting door. A family should establish the actual relationship between its proposed rooms rather than relying on the word villa.
Garden paths and poolside breaks
A Tripadvisor guest staying in March 2024 praised the garden, friendly staff and a breakfast that changed slightly each day. Another guest staying in February 2025 enjoyed a well-equipped room and a quiet location. These experiences explain the appeal of the planted setting without establishing that the whole property is soundproof.
A separate Trip.com guest from December 2024 raised concerns about the condition of an elevated boardwalk and room maintenance. That is older evidence, not a current inspection or a finding that the route remains defective. It is still a reason for a traveller with mobility requirements to request a current description of the entrance route as well as the bedroom floor.
The outdoor pool, massage options and restaurant add reasons to pause between temple visits. The Twenty Lodge suits a traveller who wants a small garden property within the Old City and accepts that the exact room and access arrangement matter. Someone who needs an elevator or a confirmed internal family connection should settle those points before choosing it.
